Nice Idea.

Got to give props to a Starfox reference, but the voices get repetitive and somewhat annoying. This was a nice effort, however.

Just not there for me...

I can see what you are trying to accomplish, but the drums come across as rather awkward and sound like a preschooler banging on pots in the kitchen. I want to like this song, and with a few tweaks I might. But it's not there yet. 6 stars.

Good Effort

This could definitely pass as retro music, but IMO we are in the modern age and should move forward instead of living in the past. A good effort all around, however, please continue composing. This one sounded a little to thin to me. Try varying your textures and contrast how many loops you use at one time.

I could see this as part of a soundtrack for a flash movie, or even a feature film.

Passable.

Excellent work developing the melody. However, IMO this song builds too slowly, and never reaches the climax I was hoping for. I thought when the synths starting becoming more complex eventually you'd break out the kickass techno beat, but unfortunately I was only greeted with mediocre drums. 5 stars.

I agree. I never really had time to make the song better or edit it. So I just released it how it was. I will take your advice and maybe re-master and edit the song.

As a loop this might be passable, but as a song...

This is a nice effort, but quickly grows repetitive to the listener.
Try redesigning this as a loop, and then it will shine for the song it is.

Excellent guitar, but...

I agree that the drum kit needs to be louder. It gets losts midway through, and while
the guitar is the focus, the drums are just as important for the listener. 8 stars!

Not exactly what I would put on my ipod, but this is indeed professional, and
matches up with most of the Trance/Techno music out there. 9 stars!

An Instant Classic

This reminds me of the days of the N64. This piece sets the mood perfectly, and
is incredibly catchy. If only video game composers could take some lessons from
you! A great melody is the building block for a great song. 10 stars dude!
